<reviewbody>This Instagon album is quite different sounding than say, "Thee Most Creative Thing I've Ever Seen [In A Slightly English Accent]" album that came out a year or two before this one. While "Thee Most Creative Thing" was purely an ambient release, "The Prophet" is more raw sounding and quite funny in spots, especially when Charles Ardinger goes into his crazy poetry based on popular song lyrics mixed with his own warped sense of humor to throw off the whole thing. The quality of the recording is rather raw as well, as it was recorded straight off of the radio by yr's truely. Anyway, I like this release quite a bit. My only wish is that I wish I was actually THERE in the studio @ KUCI, in Irvine, to record it direct.</reviewbody>
